Anemelia Hotel 5* Mykonos

The hotel is new, opened in summer 2024, and we stayed at the end of August — our impressions are mixed.
Positives: friendly, polite, and attentive staff who remembered our plans, asked how things went, offered helpful advice, and were open to feedback; very stylish hotel and room design; peaceful and quiet atmosphere; delicious and varied breakfasts; LGBTQ+ friendly.
We booked a Design Sea View Suite (upper floor) with a Private Pool — the pool was very cold, and heating was offered for an additional €50 per day. The room key card often didn’t work (we didn’t keep it near gadgets), and we had to waste time going to reception to explain and wait for a new one. On some days, there was a sewage-like smell in the bathroom.
There’s a beach next to the hotel with a water sports center — we strongly advise against it: not worth your time or money, poor service and lack of professionalism.
The hotel positions itself as luxury — I would disagree. In my opinion, it’s a 4-star level. At €500 per night, such issues are unacceptable. If the hotel resolves these problems and you get a rate around €300, it’s worth booking. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend it.
